Farmers and commercial applicators should get credit for the improvements they have made in terms of water quality and herbicides and pesticides.
That is a message from Dick Fawcett, a private consultant in Central Iowa. He worked on water-quality programs and weed management for Iowa State University in the 1970s and 1980s.
