Phase I and II of IIC’s Director Certification Program (DCP) will be held in Cedar Falls on Thursday, February 1st and Tuesday, February 2nd.
Phase I – to be held on Friday, February 2nd looks at:
- The cooperative organizational structure and historical perspective of cooperatives ending with an overview of Iowa’s cooperative code.
- Legal Responsibilities of Cooperative Director
- Director Responsibilities & Functions
- Manager/Director Teamwork and Separation of Duties
Phase II – to be held on Thursday February 1st looks at:
- The Board Management Team
- Establishing a Direction for Your Cooperative
- Director’s Role in Corporate Planning
- Constructively Handling Opportunities and Problems – Situational Analysis
