Floor work and some committee work was the primary focus of week 11. Next week marks the second major deadline for legislation (second funnel). For bills to remain eligible they must pass out of one of the chambers and pass out of a committee by the end of the day on Friday, April 5th in order to remain eligible. Of course, there are exceptions. Bills assigned to the ways and means committee or appropriations committee are considered funnel proof. Most of the bills we are monitoring at this point are funnel proof.
