The Iowa Institute for Cooperatives play in active roll in the legislative process at the Iowa Capitol. The IIC has two lobbyists, Kayla Lyon and Mike St. Clair, who monitor the issues pertinent to cooperatives including, but not limited to: cooperative law, environmental regulations, transportation issues, taxation and general agriculture issues.
